I had this problem too, but installing Real Alternative codec helped it seems these are some kind of mp4 format

You may have already solved the problem.
I haven't downloaded this series yet but I pretty sure they're subbed you just have to turn them on (from somewhere) or choose the correct subtitle track to turn them on.
Usually subs are shown as default.

looking at the file extensions episodes 15-27 are in matroska format. what is it here you go: Matroska is a universal audio/video container format. ext is mkv or mka. i use vlc (video land converter) to play these. hope this helps

Thanks for the Torrent! To answer some questions. It's Japanese with Eng Subs. Sometimes even funny subs are included. Once the files switch format use VLC player to play the files and then select which subs you want to view. Every file works perfectly for me. The only problem is episode 15. The subs are off in translation a bit, a they do not fit the screen well. I recommend getting ep. 15 from a different source because it's a particularly sweet episode and the subs kind of ruined it for me.

I just wanted to say that I completely agree with itachi-san.
Using VLC media player will get every episode working in this torrent (save for the subs in ep 15 like mentioned above).
I had to select the sound source in every single episode until episode 14 though, but that shouldn't be a problem (while playing the file: Audio (the menu) -> Audio source -> Track 1 [English]).

First off i have to say thank you for the upload of such an excellent anime. Really amazing in everything it does from the mechs to character development and pacing. I've watched up to episode 14 and had no problems, but upon the switch of subbers from Black Order to SS Anon, the subs are too big. I skipped ahead to other episodes and it seems to be only episode 15. Was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this and if there is a remedy for it? Thank You and...

Really wasn't expecting the events to unfold in such a manner. Kamina is great but Simon is the best can't believe he'd go out in so few episodes, but it was necessary for Simon.
